Meet Amani Lazarus

Amani Lazarus is an Associate in the Charleston, SC office of Delli Bovi, Martin, & Reed, LLC, where she maintains a general practice with a focus in probate and estate work. A Charleston School of Law graduate, Amani’s legal career is rooted in a deep commitment to justice and community service.

During law school, Amani distinguished herself through active participation in the Charleston Law Review, Black Law Student Association, and Student Bar Association, while serving as both an Academic Fellow and Judicial Board Member. Her dedication to public service was evident through her work as an Ackerman Fellow at Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services (Summer 2023) and as a Mayoral Fellow for the City of Charleston (Summer 2019).

Amani’s legal foundation was built through her Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Trident Technical College (2020) and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the College of Charleston (2022). She honed her practical skills during nearly three years as a paralegal at Frost Law Group, LLC before clerking with our firm.

Beyond the courtroom, Amani enjoys culinary exploration of her hometown, civic engagement, and reading richly-plotted novels. A woman of faith, she finds purpose in understanding how God’s hand guides every aspect of life toward ultimate good, even in challenging moments. Her unique blend of legal acumen, community commitment, and personal conviction makes her an invaluable addition to our team.
